Our CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

The WAN CHAI CHAMBER OF COMMERCE was established in 2019. Its members include government officials and heads of major trading companies.

TheChamber of Commercecurrently has around 1,550 Resident Members. Members are admitted only by invitation and ballot. Members of reciprocal clubs and temporary visitors proposed by Members may use theChamber of Commerce’s facilities for not more than thirty days in a calendar year.

TheChamber of Commercehas four restaurants and three bars offering Members a variety of Western and Asian food, including formal dining in the Red Room and Jackson Room and a more casual setting in the Garden Lounge, Bowling Alley Bar, Members BarChamber of CommerceBar and The Café.

The Sports and Wellness Centre provides a full range of exercise equipment. Exercise programmes can be tailored to Members’ needs and supervision from our resident Fitness Instructors is available.

The Sports and Wellness Bar offers a range of “healthy” dishes.

The Library contains over 4,600 books, over 320 audio books, 12,000 DVDs including Blu-ray discs and more than 3,800 music CDs.

Adjoining the Library are the Reading Room, the Ladies Lounge and the Card Room, where drinks and snacks are available.

Dress codes are an integral part ofChamber of Commercelife and Members and guests are expected to be appropriately attired in theChamber of Commerceat all times. The etiquette of attire is designed to make theChamber of Commercea comfortable place for all Members and to reflect the elegance of theChamber of Commerce’s surroundings.
